Amanda Bynes is fresh out of rehab and ready to move on from the legal drama she's dealt with in recent years -- starting with her bong-tossing case. And according to a new report, she can do just, as long as she stays out of trouble and goes to counseling for the next six months.

Earlier this morning, Amanda's case was heard in New York, and although she wasn't on site to defend herself, the judge ruled in her favor, opting to withhold any charges, reports E! News.

According to a Manhattan District Attorney Office spokesperson, Amanda was offered and accepted "an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal" on Friday, Jan. 10, meaning if Amanda can stay within the terms of her probation, which include six months of counseling, her case will be dismissed.

Amanda's attorney, Gerald Shargel, appeared in court on her behalf and upon exiting the courthouse, spoke to reporters, citing his happiness at the outcome, but also saying that Amanda has a "long road" ahead of her.

"She's making progress and we're very pleased," he said.

Amanda's attorney now has until June 30, which is her next court date, to "file an affidavit saying his client is complying with the terms of the agreement and completing her six month counseling requirement. Once Bynes completes the six months, the case will be dismissed," E! stated.

After Amanda left treatment last month, her family's representative spoke out on her behalf, also saying that while Amanda is doing great at this point, she has a long road ahead when it comes to her recovery.

"Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing," the rep, Tamar Arminak, told PEOPLE Magazine. "She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
