Kyle Richards has always said that she and her sister Kim Richards are a package deal when it comes to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So, now that Bravo has reportedly announced plans to let Kim go after the currently airing fourth season, Kyle is allegedly threatening to quit.

According to a new report, Kim's story line has gotten "boring" and producers are ready to give her the boot.

"The network is not entirely happy with the ratings for the current season of Beverly Hills and sadly, despite being Paris Hilton's aunt, she has little going on in her life," a production source told Radar Online"Viewers don't care about watching Kim's dog getting training. It's boring!"

For years now, Kyle has made it no secret that she wouldn't do the show if her sister wasn't on it, so this could present a problem for producers. While Kim may be "boring," as the report states, her sister has been one of fans' favorite housewives for years now -- she even made the semi-finals of Ryan Seacrest's Favorite Housewife Poll last year.

"As you can imagine, Kyle is very unhappy about Bravo's plans. She has made no secret of that fact that she'll threaten to quit if her sister is fired," the source explained, adding that in addition to not having her support with the other women, Kyle is also concerned about the show being Kim's "only steady income that Kim has and Kyle doesn't want to financially support her again."

Although nothing in regard to season five has been made official yet, nor has Bravo even announced a fifth season, there seems to be a definite cast change in store if the show does return.

"They could be looking for at least two new housewives for the next season," said the insider. "In any event, producers will be looking for ladies with over the top lifestyles, who bring the drama. The Brandi-Joyce feud is really the only storyline so far this season that the audience is engaging with."
