Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting a baby girl. Just weeks after announcing her pregnancy, the former American Idol star has taken to Twitter where she's made the official reveal.

"We just found out we're having a girl officially!" Clarkson wrote on Twitter on Monday, Jan. 20. "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"

In November of last year, Clarkson accurately predicted that she would soon be a mother, and that her first child would be a girl. "I'm totally gonna have a girl. I'm manifesting it," she told Parade Magazine. "And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!'"

At the time, Clarkson was looking forward to being pregnant, and for once, not having to deal with all the fat accusations.

"Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can't wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk!" she explained. "I've never been Gisele Bündchen, so ain't nobody expectin' that! I like to set a [low] standard so people don't expect a lot."

One month later, on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Clarkson dished on the not-so-ideal side effects of her first pregnancy.

"I vomit a dozen times a day. It's like bad. I vomited before coming out here," Clarkson revealed. "It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. You're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That's total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out -- it's not all lush and beautiful -- and I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible."
