Jason Trawick Debuts Weight Gain, Embarks On A New Diet

After being targeted by tabloids who announced that he was looking larger than he had months ago, Britney Spears' ex-fiance Jason Trawick has taken to Twitter to show off his weight gain and announce that he has since embarked on a new diet and exercise plan.

"Thanks @tmz I needed this," Trawick wrote on Twitter on Jan. 20. "Started my diet/workout program today."

Trawick even took things one step further, telling the news site, "C u in a month," as if to say that he would be back in shape in just 30 days.

Hours earlier, TMZ had published several photos of Trawick along with the headline, "Britney Spears' Ex Gutsy Move."

Inside, the article read, "Freedom isn't the only thing Jason Trawick gained after breaking up with Britney Spears -- and he's not tripping one bit ... proudly showing off his new gut during a weekend pizza run in Hollywood. Oh yeah, he got Popeye's too."

In the photos, Trawick was seen coming out of a pizza joint with a box of pizza and a bag of Popeye's. As he headed to his vehicle, Trawick was seen getting a head start on his pizza, shoveling it in as he walked, carrying both meals.

Oddly, this isn't the first Spears ex to pack on the pounds post-split. Years ago, it was Kevin Federline who added more than a few pounds after their divorce.

"Everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I'm not going to say that's the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression," he told Access Hollwood in 2010. "Once you get depressed, you don't really feel like doing anything. You're kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed . . . I mean, it's a combination of all of those things."
