Mackenzie Douthit and her husband Josh McKee tied the knot in June of 2013 after welcoming son Gannon one year prior, but according to Douthit, the relationship hasn't always been easy. In fact, Douthit and McKee nearly called it quits just months ago.

On Tuesday, the Teen Mom 3 opened up about her and her husband's hardships on Instagram.

"The other night me and my lovely husband went on a date to Logan's. As mostly everyone knows we have had many struggles in our relationship and even after we got married the devil really attacked our relationship," Douthit wrote. "I was about to give up and so was he. I never let my praying knees get lazy and right before we were gonna call it off for good God just worked his magic, found us a house, and just like that were now best friends and he is the most loving, caring, hard working guy and I couldn't imagine life without him."

On Teen Mom 3, Douthit and McKee often struggled in their relationship. Following the birth of their son, Douthit expected that she and McKee would live happily ever after as a family, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Instead, McKee seemed more concerned with hanging with friends than spending time with Douthit and Gannon.

At the time, Douthit worried that they couldn't make it as a couple and the pair split up, a couple of times. However, months after the season wrapped, Douthit and McKee pulled through the hard times, became engaged, and got married.

Now, not only are Douthit and McKee in a better place in their relationship, they are also preparing for another child. At the end of next month, the McKees are due to welcome their second child, a girl.
