Shayne Lamas is Pregnant Again with Baby No. 2

Former Bachelor star Shayne Lamas is expecting her second child with husband Nik Richie.

Richie confirmed the second pregnancy to Us Weekly on Thursday, January 23. 

"Shayne's 12 weeks pregnant," he told the magazine. "Like the great husband I am, I knocked her up during her birthday trip in Maui, Hawaii last November. Definitely a LOVE baby."

Richie also posted in his blog on Sunday, January 19, that they are preparing to welcome a new member to their family. 

The two tied the knot on April 2010 after reportedly only knowing each other for just eight hours. They are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Press.

In his blog TabRag.com, he shared the good news and sang praises to his wife's mothering skills.

"Both Shayne and I are super excited for our second child," he wrote. "I've grown so much as a father and Shayne is an amazing mother. Together we are a great team and love each other very much.

"We are still in the first trimester of the pregnancy, so we don't know the gender yet. The doctor said the baby will born in August of 2014.

"Love conquers all demons."

Meanwhile, Lamas posted a picture on her Twitter account to announce her pregnancy: "Being pregnant is an occupational hazard of being a wife."

In the comment, she said: "When you are under construction it's ideal to put on the hard-hat kids."
