Selena Gomez Is Reportedly Dating Austin Mahone After Being Set Up By Taylor Swift

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were spotted together on a couple of occasions earlier this month, but now that Bieber has reportedly moved on with model Chantel Jeffries, Gomez is moving on as well, reportedly with Austin Mahone.

According to a Jan. 29 report by Us Weekly, Taylor Swift, a close friend of Gomez's, thought that the two singers would be a good match and set them up on a date where they hit it off.

"They're seeing each other," a source confirmed to the magazine.

However, at this point, Gomez and Mahone are keeping things on the down low, which means fans won't be seeing them on the red carpet together anytime soon.

Instead, the pair are reportedly sneaking around Los Angeles with one another, most recently at the Beats Music concert on Jan. 24. After the show, an eyewitness claimed, Gomez and Mahone "sneaked out separately," but "then got in the same car!"

Gomez and Mahone have been spotted together on a couple of occasions recently, once at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, and a second time in October. During both run-ins, Mahone shared a photo with Gomez online.

In the latest issue of Seventeen Magazine, Gomez admitted to going through a "really bad breakup" which left her needing some "me time." But now that she's gotten it, she's ready to move on with someone who can better handle her success.

"I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls. I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it," Gomez said. "It's hard. I do think I might scare some guys, because I'm like, 'I want to change the world! I have dreams! What do you want to do?' But I only know how to be me."
