Ramona Singer 'Shocked' at Husband's Affair With Kasey Dexter

Ramona Singer filed for divorce from husband Mario Singer on Tuesday in New York City and now, just days later, her friend is speaking out on her behalf, telling the press of her shock and vowing that Ramona will get the last laugh.

"They both flirt with other people, but Ramona was shocked to learn that her husband was actually seeing someone," a friend of the Real Housewives of New York City star revealed to PEOPLE Magazine on Jan. 31. "Neither Ramona nor their friends thought anything would go beyond a flirty stage." 

According to reports, Mario began a relationship with socialite Kasey Dexter in the summer of 2013, which resulted in her getting pregnant. After getting money from Mario, Kasey reportedly had an abortion, but their relationship continued all the way until this past weekend when Ramona caught the pair at her Southampton home.

"Of course it hurts, but Ramona is like dynamite and Avery is also strong," the friend told PEOPLE. "Ramona has her own business, the TV show and lots of hobbies like skiing and tennis. She will survive."

The friend also added that Ramona is planning to make her husband pay, even if that means getting revenge. 

"Ramona will stick it to Mario," the friend said. "She is bubbly and fun and will find herself plenty of younger guys!" 

Ramona has already hit the town on a couple of occasions, the latest being last night when she attended an event for Alyssa Milano's clothing line Touch.
