Farrah Abraham recently participated in VH1’s Couple’s Therapy, and while the series is a reality show, it’s also meant to help the participant’s mental health. Abraham, for one, says she’s a better person because of it.

“I think every show is sensationalized a little bit.. but therapy to me is real s**t,” Abraham revealed to Wetpaint Entertainment in a Feb. 3 interview. "That’s real work, and however I communicate and however I share, that’s me doing therapy.”

Since appearing on the show, Abraham, who has a 5-year-old daughter and sold a sex tape in April 2013, says she’s in a much better place when it comes to her mental health and has learned to better deal with her life as is.

“I’m more comfortable because I’ve done a lot of work,” she explained. “I think I am more comfortable, in a better place. I just keep progressing, keep learning from your past, watch yourself back. When you watch yourself back you learn a lot.”

Following the show, on which she starred solo after being ditched by alleged boyfriend Brian Dawe (who later claimed their relationship was fake), Abraham continued to see a doctor in an effort to ensure that she stays on a positive path and is now living a healthier lifestyle all around.

“My doctor told me I needed to be more zen,” Abraham said. "I got really ill last week and I’ve been traveling so much and working, so I’ve been doing massage, I’ve been doing acupuncture, I’ve been doing Qigong. It’s just a tranquil workout.”

And that’s not all. Abraham has also incorporated a healthier diet into her life.

"I changed my whole diet. I juice now. I’m a different person,” she said.
