Brandi Glanville appeared on Access Hollywood recently to address claims that her husband Eddie Cibrian reportedly overpaid her nearly $115k in child support, and explained why she can't pay back the money.

"He says he's overpaid me child [support] and alimony and he would like me to pay him back - but it's spent!" Glanville explained during the interview. "We had to live."

According to Glanville, and her legal team, she can't afford to pay Cibrian back the money he overpaid her, but in the same interview, she admitted that, between her Bravo gig and her books, she was raking in some serious dough.

When asked if she was financially thriving, Glanville told the entertainment program, "A little bit ... [my books have been] New York Times best [sellers], two times in a row, so yeah."

In fact, Glanville seems to think that Cibrian has filed to have the money given back to him because of her book success.

"The last time my first book came out, he kind of pulled something similar - I think he does it just to rattle me a little," she said.

In response to Glanville's appearance, Cibrian's reps told Radar Online "there is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife."

"The notion is preposterous," the rep added. "This is yet another ploy for self-promotion."

Earlier this week, in a separate interview, Glanville spoke to E! News, explaining that although she has hired a lawyer to help her deal with Cibrian's request, she doesn't want to fight with him.

"I mean, I don't want to fight with him, I don't," Glanville insisted. "Unfortunately, he wants a lot of money, so I had to get a lawyer. It's just...I don't want to fight with him for the rest of my life. I really don't."
