Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry shared a kiss, but unfortunately, their hookup has turned sour.

After sharing a kiss with Cyrus at her Feb. 22 concert, Perry has dissed Cyrus and her "infamous" tongue, starting a war of words between the pair.

It all started after Perry did an interview on Australian talk show Sunrise, where she claimed to have rejected Cyrus' advances to take their kiss French.

"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do," Perry said in the March 4 chat. "And then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away. God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"

Once Cyrus got word of Perry's harsh criticism, she took to Twitter with a diss of her own.

"Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT been," she wrote.

At the end of last month, Perry split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, John Mayer, who has been known for his love of the ladies. In recent years, Mayer has been linked to many famous women, including Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Taylor Swift -- to name a few.

An hour later, Cyrus added, "Dontchyouuuu act like you didn't lurvvvvv it."

At that point, things seemed to cool off, and Perry joked back at Cyrus about a future spanking.

"Oooo gurrrl I'm gonna give you the BIGGEST spanking when I see you in the UK bb!" she said.

Cyrus and Perry are both heading to the UK in May where Cyrus has several tour dates as part of her Bangerz Tour, and Perry has dates on her Prismatic World Tour.
