Ryan Seacrest is taking his green juice diet to the extreme.

According to a new report, Seacrest, who is an extreme green juicer, has enlisted the help of an assistant to follow him with an array of juices during all of his workouts.

“[Seacrest] now demands that one of his four assistants trail him during all working hours with a high tech insulated briefcase filled with the macrobiotic green drink that he swears by to keep his skinny figure,” a source revealed to Radar Online on March 10.

As a child, Seacrest struggled with weight issues which led him to be very self-conscious. When he would visit the community pool, he would wear a t-shirt to hide his heavyset physique, and when he would snack on cookies and nachos, he would do so behind his mother's back.

Although Seacrest is in better shape at this time, his past often haunts him.

“As far as Ryan’s diet goes, he’s either paranoid in the extreme about his health, or playing a game of one-upmanship with his health nut career rival Carson [Daly]!” the source added.

In an interview with Men's Health, Seacrest spoke of his healthy diet.

"I love vegetable juices. Sometimes I'll make juices-with or without pulp; it just depends. I love to snack on things that are crunchy. Even though they're not bad, I tend to eat the wrong amount of almonds. I love roasted or raw almonds or cashews."
