Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill are planning to have a second child later this year.

The couple, who welcomed son Duke on Aug. 29, 2012 after years of struggling with infertility issues, would love to expand their family and give their son a sibling, but because of their hectic schedules, they are having to wait until they have a bit more time on their hands.

In a new interview, Rancic is opening up about her baby plans and which sex she is hoping for.

"We would love to have another baby and we'd love to do it sooner rather than later, but it's just really about figuring out the right time," Rancic said in the March 6 interview with Star Magazine. "I would say in the next six months we'll start figuring it out."

At the moment, Rancic has her hands full -- and that's putting it lightly. In addition to her hosting gig on E! News, Rancic is starring in Fashion Police, Giuliana And Bill, and Beyond Candid. She is also busy with her HSN line (which had the biggest debut of any line on the network in 2013).

Despite her busy schedule, Rancic said she realizes how much being a mother means to her and plans to eventually "pull out of a couple of things" in order to have more time at home with her husband and family.

As for what sex she's hoping for, Rancic is undecided.

"I'm torn! I'd like a boy because I feel like boys could play together. Bill would love that because it's like two little boys and you play football and they could play together. But then, I want a girl because I, myself, would selfishly want a girl," she explained. "As a woman, there's a part of you that wants a little girl that you could dress up cute and have fun with."
