Kesha is focused on her health and ridding her life anyone and anything that may be toxic.

Now living in Los Angeles, Kesha is "laying low" and in a "really good place" after distancing herself from those who have had a negative impact on her health.

"She has eliminated all of the negative people and influences in her life," a friend of the pop star told PEOPLE Magazine on March 29. "She has surrounded herself with only supportive and loving friends and family."

On Jan. 3, Kesha entered a treatment center in Illinois where she said she would be "seeking treatment for my eating disorder." In an interview with Celebuzz days later, Kesha's mom, Pebe Sebert, claimed that Kesha's producer, Dr. Luke, was partially to blame for her daughter's eating disorder, stating that he once compared her body to a refrigerator. In response to Sebert's claims, Dr. Luke released a statement, denying playing any part in Kesha's health problems.

At the time she was first admitted, Kesha planned to stay at the facility for 30 days, but after a month of treatment, Kesha decided to extend her stay.

On March 6, Kesha left rehab and surfaced on Twitter where she told fans, "life is beautiful."

Following her rehab stint, Kesha moved to Venice, Calif., where she was said to have a good support system.

"Kesha is back to practicing self-love and is at peace with herself," added the friend. "She's found her inner strength and focus again."
