Jenny McCarthy is engaged to Donnie Wahlberg.

On Wednesday's episode of The View, McCarthy announced the exciting news, as her fiance, Wahlberg, joined her on set.

"I just got engaged!" McCarthy revealed to her co-stars, according to Us Weekly, during the morning talk show, on which she serves as co-host.

McCarthy and Wahlberg began dating in March 2013 after Wahlberg made an innuendo-filled appearance on her VH1 talk show, The Jenny McCarthy Show. During his visit, the two sucked on red lollipops and chatted about sex. When he left, McCarthy took to her blog where she revealed that she had been "legitimately" turned on by Wahlberg.

In Sept. 2013, months after taking their romance public, McCarthy opened up about her romance with Wahlberg to PEOPLE Magazine, revealing that although she had yet to meet his two kids, he had met her son Evan -- and it went amazingly. She also spoke about what attracts her most to Wahlberg.

"Our work ethic, I would say, is a huge characteristic trait that makes me attracted to him. He understands my work schedule and he has his and I get it and we're both single parents and he's trying to juggle all of that while I am too," she explained.

With McCarthy busy filming The View and Wahlberg with his role on Blue Bloods and upcoming New Kids on the Block event in Las Vegas, the two single parents are certainly busy, but determined to make time to plan their upcoming wedding.

This will be the second marriage for both. Wahlberg was married to Kim Fey for nine years before divorcing in 2008 and McCarthy was married to director John Asher until 2005.
