LeAnn Rimes And Eddie Cibrian Reality Show: 'LeAnn & Eddie' VH1 Premiere Date Revealed

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's new show has just gotten a premiere date.

This summer, Rimes and Cibrian will be making their television debut as a couple on VH1's LeAnn & Eddie, a scripted series about their lives together.

"Inside the sanctity of their world, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are a typical normal modern family — a married couple, who both have careers and are also learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie’s two sons," read the show's press release, according to an April 28 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "But life outside the home for them is very different because they live in a fishbowl where the paparazzi stalk them, the tabloids report on any detail, and the public gets only part of the real story."

The show, which Wetpaint reported is produced by the company behind Duck Dynasty, promises to "poke fun" at what it is like to live in Hollywood as a high-profile couple with the constant speculation of the media and show how Rimes and Cibrian juggle their family dynamic with Cibrian's sons, Jake and Mason, from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Rimes and Cibrian will play themselves on the series, which is based on their real life but not a reality series. In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Rimes explained that although much of the story lines will be true, they will also be elaborating on certain issues to create a funnier version of what they go through on a day-to-day basis.

LeAnn & Eddie premieres on July 17 at 10:30 p.m. following the premiere of Nicole Richie's new reality show, #CandidlyNicole. The show will reportedly include six 30-minute episodes.
