Lisa Marie Presley has reportedly canceled several shows due to a back injury.

After touring Australia and Japan, Presley, 46, embarked on a tour of North American tour before being sidelined by chronic back pain which eventually forced her to pull out of her remaining shows.

"Presley has a bum back that has dogged her with chronic pain ... and she just can't stand it anymore ... because doing concerts is now excruciating," TMZ reported on May 2. "We're told Lisa's doctor ordered her to pull the plug because he fears her condition will worsen with the strain of gyrating on stage."

Presley, the daughter of music legend Elvis Presley, made her musical debut on April 8, 2013, with the release of her first album, To Whom It May Concern. In the years that followed, Presley released two more albums, the first, What Now, on April 5, 2005, and the second, Storm & Grace, on May 15, 2012.

Following the release of her third album, Presley embarked on a global tour, performing in shows all over the United States and Canada, and throughout Japan and Australia. Presley's current tour of North America was scheduled to have 14 more shows and run through June 29.

Presley's canceled shows will reportedly be rescheduled for sometime next year.

Presley has been married four times and is currently married to Michael Lockwood, who serves as her guitarist, music producer and director. After tying the knot in Jan. 2006, the couple welcomed fraternal twin girls, Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love. Since 2012, Presley, who has two other children from a previous marriage, and her family have been living in England.
