LeAnn Rimes is reportedly under fire after claiming Brandi Glanville's two sons are her life.

Although Rimes has been married to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, since 2011, she sometimes crosses the line when it comes to being respectful of Glanville, and on Sunday, she got called out for it on Twitter.

"I'm not meaning this in a mean way. Do you think a bit of the hate would dwindle, if you were to not mention the kids as much?" a fan asked Rimes on Twitter, according to an In Touch Weekly report.

After marrying Cibrian, Rimes took on the role of step mother to Glanville's boys, and while it is expected that she treat them like her own, many have taken offense to her regular tweets and public comments about them -- Glanville included.

In response to the woman's tweet, Rimes wrote, "No! They are my life Eddie and my life revolve around them I will not edit myself because of anyone else's childishness."

In Dec. 2013, Rimes came under fire for releasing personal information about Mason and Jake after she tweeted to a fan, publicly revealing what kind of school the boys were enrolled in. In response to Rimes' tweet, one fan suggested the decision to release that kind of information should be left to the parents.

Months later, Rimes was again criticized for her lack of boundaries when she tweeted an article titled, "Mother's Day vs. Stepmother's Day: Who Owns It?"

After reading Rimes' tweet, a couple of fans weighed in.

One woman told her, "As [a step mom], I respectfully disagree. I feel no need/competition to b recognized on Mother's Day by [my step kids]." Another said, "Can't [Brandi] just have one day she doesn't have to share with you? You chose to be stepmom-don't understand why you need so much public validation."
