Tracy Morgan sustained several broken bones during a weekend car accident. He remains in critical condition.

On the way home from a gig in Delaware, Morgan's limo bus was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer, leaving one man dead, and Morgan and three others in critical condition. On Sunday, Morgan's rep updated fans on his condition.

"While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign," the rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. "He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks."

In the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, June 7, Morgan and three of his team members and their driver, including comedian Jack McNair, were heading home to New York when their limo bus was hit, causing a six-car collision. Sadly, McNair didn't make it.

Following the incident, the truck driver who had been behind the wheel of the Walmart truck, which hit Morgan's limo bus, was charged with death by auto and assault by auto.

According to a report by the New York Daily News, the 35-year-old man, named Kevin Roper, was active on Twitter prior to the crash and had a bio, which warned, “It’s my road move or get hit!”

After the crash, someone posted a message on his account, which read, "My daddy is sorry for what happened please forgive him @RealTracyMorgan,” someone tweeted from the Roper account Saturday. “We watch martin all the time with hustleman is our favorite."
