Jenelle Evans did not quit school to appear on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.

In the last few days, rumors have been circulating that Evans, who is due to give birth later this month, quit college in order to film for season 5B, but according to a source close to the reality star, there is no truth to the rumor.

"School is one of the most important things to Jenelle," the source revealed to Radar Online. "Her plan is to graduate with a degree. But she's also going to do Teen Mom 2's next season too. Jenelle has a lot going on in her life right now and she isn't going to turn away from that show."

A couple of months ago, Evans, who has had a couple of stints in college in recent years, (she went to Cape Fear Community College for Film Studies in 2012 and Miller-Motte Tech College a year later) returned to school in hopes at getting a degree. And despite the fact that she could give birth at any moment, Evans is focused on her future career and determined to stay in school.

There have also been a couple additional rumors about Evans, one claiming she and her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, are already engaged, and other which stated that she was planning for an at-home water birth, which the source also addressed.

“Jenelle is not secretly engaged to Nathan right now,” the source confirmed. “Why would anybody think that she would keep that a secret? She loves Nathan and when she gets engaged she’s going to want the world to know.”

As for the alleged water birth, the source said there was “no way" that would happen, adding that Evans is "DEFINITELY taking an epidural.”
