LeAnn Rimes is ready to expand her family with husband Eddie Cibrian.

While insiders recently claimed Cibrian had no interest in having more children, a new report states that Rimes has already "consulted doctors" about starting the in vitro fertilization process.

“LeAnn’s been begging Eddie [Cibrian] to let her begin IVF, but he doesn’t want more kids,” an insider revealed to Life & Style on June 26. “He has been clear with her, but she just doesn’t listen.”

Rimes and Cibrian got married on April 22, 2011 after two years of dating. At the time they met, Rimes and Cibrian were working on the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, and were both married. Their affair was plastered all over the headlines, as was Rimes' ongoing feud with Cibrian's first wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.

Now that Rimes and Cibrian have been married for over three years, Rimes is hoping to start a family of their own. Even though Cibrian already has two boys, Jake and Mason, from his previous marriage to Glanville, Rimes is determined to have a child with Cibrian. However, between Cibrian's hesitations to have more kids and Rimes' possible infertility, it may not be the easiest feat.

“It’s sad – not only is her body preventing LeAnn from getting pregnant, her husband isn’t allowing it, either,” a source told Life & Style in a previous report, via Showbiz Spy.

For more of Rimes and Cibrian, tune into their new VH1 series, LeAnn & Eddie, when it premieres on Thurs., July 17, at 10:30 p.m.
