Kris Jenner just got dissed by her former boss at Fox.

One year ago, Jenner began filming a new talk show, Kris, which aired in select markets as part of a trial run on Fox. Months later, the network announced it would not be moving forward, and now, Senior VP and President of Programming for the Fox Television Stations, Frank Cicha, is speaking out about why Kris didn't work for the network.

"I think she was pretty uninteresting [on camera],” Cicha told The Hollywood Reporter on June 27. “That was one where [sister company] 20th Television tried to capitalize on a name. … When the camera was on she looked not just like a deer in the headlights, but like a deer that already got hit.”

During Kris' test run in 2013, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch did a lot to promote the show, and her family helped as well. On one episode, Jenner was joined by her daughter, Kim Kardashian, who had just had a baby weeks earlier. On a separate airing, she was visited by Kardashian's husband, Kanye West, who debuted the first photos of their daughter, North West, on the show.

Although some episodes did receive good ratings, the production cost of Kris was simply too high for the network to move forward, and the show wasn't a great fit for the rest of the network's lineup.

"When you added it up, it wasn’t a show that made sense for us,” Cicha added.
