Chris Brown may be getting his own series on BET.

In recent weeks, BET has made it clear to several production companies that they would love to air a series featuring Brown's life after his release from jail.

"A focus group was held Tuesday in the San Fernando Valley ... asking participants if they'd watch a reality show in which Chris tries to stay on the straight and narrow -- free from violence and drugs," TMZ reported on June 27. "We're told the group -- comprised entirely of African American females -- was split, but the majority said they'd watch to see if Chris would screw up."

In Oct. 2013, Brown was arrested after an alleged assault outside of a Washington, D.C. nightclub. At the time of the incident, Brown was charged with felony assault. The next day, the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. After three days behind bars, Brown was sent back to Los Angeles and ordered to report to his probation officer, who would decide if Brown was in violation of his probation. If he was, he would be sentenced to serve up to four years in jail for his prior assault on former girlfriend, Rihanna.

On Oct. 30, 2013, Brown voluntarily entered rehab, with his rep stating that he aimed to "gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior." Unfortunately, his "focus and insight" came to an early halt when he was kicked out of the facility two weeks later after breaking the facility rules.

One week later, during a probation hearing, Brown was ordered to 90-days of anger management at a rehab facility. Once the 90 days was up, a judge ordered Brown to remain at the facility until his next hearing, which was scheduled for April 23, 2014. But again, Brown violated the rules and was kicked out of rehab and he was immediately sent to jail, where he remained until June 2, 2014.

According to TMZ, Brown has not yet been signed on to the series.
