Yolanda Foster has traveled to Tijuana for treatment for her Lyme disease.

Ahead of filming on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Foster visited a treatment center in Mexico to address her ongoing battle with the disease.

"Crossing all borders as the Quest for a CURE continues #LymeDisease #Tijuana #DallasBuyersClub,” Foster tweeted to fans, according to a July 1 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. Along with Foster's tweet, the mother of three shared a photo of herself in a white T-shirt and jeans, sitting in what appeared to be a doctor's office.

After joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show's third season, Foster began to realize that something wasn't right. After a fight with her former co-star, Taylor Armstrong, during which she called her an "a**hole," Foster, who rarely cusses, realized that she needed help.

"The Lyme disease had so severely affected my brain functioning that it was extremely hard for me to think, form sentences, and stay focused,” Foster revealed during an interview with Andy Cohen on his late-night Bravo talk show, Watch What Happens Live. “I was always trying to be so extremely healthy because it was the only way I could get through my days.”

Ahead of season four, Foster was unsure that she would be able to continue with the series. At the time, Foster claimed she had lost "40 percent of her brain power" during three and said she didn't know if her health would allow her to move forward on the show.
