Tamra Barney Son Wedding Date: 'RHOC' Star Get Emotional Over Ryan Vieth's Wedding Plans

Tamra Barney may not have given her son the reaction he was looking for when he revealed his plans to be married.

On Monday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Ryan Vieth announced his Sept. 6 wedding date to his mother, who was taken aback by the quickness of her son's relationship with a single mother of three, whom he had met on Instagram just two months prior.

"I have nobody. What are you doing?!" Barney asked her son, via Radar Online, after he revealed he was getting married -- and moving hours away to be with his fiancé, Sarah Rodriguez. Vieth's reaction? “I’m not 16 anymore.”

While Barney and Rodriguez appear to be on good terms these days, the initial shock of hearing her son was leaving her and getting married caused for quite the sting -- and there was more shocking news for Barney during the episode.

Not only did Barney discover that her son's fiancé already had three kids of her own, she also learned that the woman owned a gun shop and carried a pistol in her purse. And as if that weren't enough, Rodriguez informed Barney that her father had killed himself years earlier after her mother died of cancer.

“I’m in shock that Ryan is going to quit his job and move in with a girl he met on Instagram,” Barney later told Bravo’s cameras. “Who does that?!”

While Vieth and his fiance have yet to tie the knot, they did recently announce they were expecting a child together.
