Lady Gaga isn't trying to be a size 0.

After several Twitter users referred to the singer as "fat" during her Artscape performances, Gaga took to Instagram where she shared a revealing photo of herself and told fans she was proud of her curves.

"Posing on top of a convertible car in a fur jacket with her bare legs on full display, [Gaga] captioned the snap: 'Curvy and Proud,'" Us Weekly reported on July 22. In the photo, Gaga was seen sitting on the top of a convertible, wearing a white fur coat and matching heels.

During her Artscape performances, Gaga wore a number of skimpy outfits, and according to some fans online, she was looking a bit bigger than normal. In addition to online commenters taking to social media to call her "fat," one Gaga critic went as far as to say, "Gaga is over, she is fat, Katy [Perry] is better than her."

This isn't the first time Gaga has faced accusations of being overweight. In 2012, Gaga, who struggled in the past with an eating disorder, started a social media campaign to encourage her fans and others to accept and love their bodies -- no matter what size they were.

"Today I join the BODY REVOLUTION. To Inspire Bravery. And BREED some m$therf**king COMPASSION," Gaga wrote on her Little Monsters site. "This profile is an extension of that dream. Be brave and celebrate with us your 'perceived flaws,' as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous."

Also on the site, Gaga revealed that her boyfriend, Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney, enjoys her when she is a bit curvier.
