Leah Calvert Prescription Pills: 'Teen Mom 2' Fans React To Star's On-Camera Drug Use

Leah Calvert's fans were surprised to see her recent drug use on Teen Mom 2.

Although the mother of three was prescribed the drugs she was taking, her body didn't react to the medication in the way she expected, leaving her "really messed up" and "super drowsy," and leaving her fans in shock.

“I forgot what I was going to say now,” Calvert told her daughter's doctor, according to an Aug. 5 report by Radar Online, as she struggles to keep her eyes open. “What do you think I should do about the wheelchair . . .” she added, slurring her words.

Later in the episode, MTV attempted to make things a bit easier for fans to interpret what Calvert was saying, but unfortunately, her commentary didn't make a lot of sense. Instead, she continued to ramble to Ali's doctor, before the woman, named Kim, told her she was breaking up and ended the conversation.

“It was incredibly hard to watch Leah like that,” one fan tweeted in response to Calvert's behavior. “Oh my gosh. I hope she got off that medication because that was scary.” Another fan added, "She’s equally as high as Jenelle was when we saw her on heroin."

“Wow #LeahMesser went to work high!?!" asked a third viewer. "Just another pill poppin’ momma!”

Last week, Radar Online claimed a source close to Calvert revealed she was still taking drugs in an effort to cope with the ongoing strain, both financially and emotionally, of having a daughter with muscular dystrophy. In the report, the Calvert source alleged she had been popping pills for "a long time."
