Chrissy Teigen Weight Loss: Model Reveals Diet Tips And Tricks

Chrissy Teigen is speaking out against juice diets.

In a new interview, Teigen, the wife of R&B star John Legend, opened up about her weight loss secrets, revealing she steers clear of juice diets, opting instead to eat healthier foods.

“Juices are killers. It’s all sugar!” Teigen explained to Life & Style on Aug. 14. Instead, the model recommends “greens, greens, greens!”

Two weeks before a big event, Teigen starts a semi-raw diet, eating mainly salads and sashimi. And while she certainly cuts out a lot of foods, including white foods (except cauliflower), carbs and sugar, one thing she'll never give up is her favorite meal of the day -- breakfast.

“I have to have breakfast and breakfast has to be eggs!” Teigen said.

When she's feeling deprived, Teigen said she makes herself sane by writing down what she plans to eat after the event or shoot.

Teigen also has two more rules for herself -- to keep her figure in check.

“I drink a ton of water. And I never go to bed too full,” she explained.

Since making a name for herself in the modeling world, Teigen has faced criticism regarding her size. Although Teigen is quite small, many have felt she isn't skinny enough and even referred to her as "fat."

Despite her critics' harsh comments, Teigen loves her body and doesn't let others' negativity get her down.

In response to her critics, Teigen asked PEOPLE Magazine, "Who the f**k cares?"
