Catelynn Lowell opened up about mental illness in a new Instagram post.

Following the tragic loss of Robin Williams, the pregnant Teen Mom star took to social media, where she admitted to struggling with depression and anxiety.

“It’s not a joke,” the 22-year-old star wrote on her Instagram account, according to an Aug. 15 report by Radar Online. “I struggle with depression/anxiety on the daily. We are not alone…there is help out in the world! #listentoeachother.”

Earlier this month, Lowell announced she and her fiance, Tyler Baltierra, were expecting their second child together. At the same time, the four-months pregnant star shared the first photo of her baby bump.

In addition to her proclamation, Lowell shared an inspirational quote with fans.

“Depression, anxiety, and panic attacks are not a sign of weakness. They are signs of having tried to remain strong for so long," the message, which was reposted by Baltierra, read. "1 in 3 of us go through depression, anxiety or panic attacks at least once in our life….Let those who struggle know they are never alone."

'Teen Mom' Stars Begin Filming Season Five

Earlier this summer, Lowell and Baltierra, along with Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood, began filming with MTV for the upcoming fifth season of Teen Mom. Although the show was canceled after season four wrapped in late 2012 (likely because of Portwood's five-year jail sentence), producers recently announced plans to bring the series back.
