Things are heating up more than usual behind the scenes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Spoilers for season seven show Phaedra Parks may be giving up on hubby Apollo Nida as he heads to jail, and a divorce could be on the way.

Nida plead guilty to identity theft and will face eight years in prison starting Sept. 10, according to an Aug. 27 report by Radar Online. The site also reported that Nida stole the identity of more than 50 people and laundered over $2.3 million.

The reality star was originally facing 30 years, but his time was cut short after he complied with investigators.

"Don't do as I do, but take my experiences and hope that it will give you a better platform," he told Radar Online, hoping he could stand as an example to young men.

A written affidavit, also obtained by Radar Online, explained Nida's crimes in detail. He created fake companies, allowing access to various databases to find real people's names to rip off, opened fake bank accounts with people's names and moved stolen checks from the U.S. Treasury, as well as auto loan proceeds, into these accounts.

In addition to his prison sentence, Nida will pay $2 million in restitution over the next 20 years.

Here is where the spoiler really kicks in.

If Parks decides to stay with her convict husband, she will have a hefty price to pay - $100,000 a year to be exact.

There are no reports confirming whether the couple are still together or not, but Nida recently blasted his wife on Atlanta's B-100 radio station for not showing up to his prison sentencing.

"I mean my wife didn't even f**king show up to my sentencing. I'm still salty about that, but whatever," he said.

Whether she decides to file for divorce or not, her fellow cast mates say they are there for her.

Kandi Burruss told Hollywood Life on July 8 that her pal Parks is doing just great.

"She's basically working," she said. "That's how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work, I know that she's promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she's not really trying to focus as much on what's happening."

Spoilers for the upcoming season, set to air Nov. 2, show Nida filming, so he and Parks are not divorced yet. At this point, only time will tell.
