Tamra Barney may not be returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 10.

Although the soon-to-be grandmother recently told fans there was "not a chance" she wouldn't be returning to Bravo for a 10th season of the hit reality show, a source has since claimed Bravo has no intensions on moving forward with her.

“Bravo is actively casting for someone who is a voice of reason,” a source told Radar Online on Sept. 2. “They want to replace [Tamra] who’s stirring up too much s**t and the entire cast is against her.”

According to the source, Bravo executives are searching for someone who won't cause too much drama on the upcoming season. Although drama typically equals ratings, tensions have been at an all-time high lately, and for many, including a few cast members, it's completely overwhelming. Instead, Bravo would like to bring on someone who is successful and "well respected among their peers."

Throughout season nine of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Barney was involved in drama with the majority of her co-stars -- all while keeping her own drama with ex-husband, Simon Barney, away from the cameras. As a result, many of her fans have lost interest.

“She not being authentic and the audience is not connecting with her,” explained the source. “She hasn’t been completely open about her custody issues. It’s supposed to be reality and instead she only wants to create drama with others around her.”
