Bravo is reportedly searching for a replacement for Tamra Barney.

Source Claims 'RHOC' Fans Aren't Connecting With Tamra Barney

Amid rumors the mother of four had been fired from the series, following its ninth season, a source has come forward, claiming Bravo is on the hunt for a "high-profile Housewife" to take her place.

“We want a high-profile housewife, someone who has fans of her own that she can bring to the show," a source revealed to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Sept. 8. "RHOBH landed Eileen Davidson of Y&R, we don’t necessarily need a soap star, but someone who is already in the headlines or tabloids for something other than just the fact that she is on Bravo.”

Tamra Barney Says There's "Not A Chance" She'll Leave 'RHOC'

Barney has been with the show since season three, and has been quite the hit. However, throughout the series' ninth season, fans disconnected. As Barney was dealing with the drama of her custody case off-screen, she failed to allow that side of her life on the show. Instead, she engaged in petty feuds with the majority of her co-stars, including Lizzie Rovsek (they fought over Rovsek's breast size after Barney nicknamed her "Kentucky Fried T***ies").

Celebrity Dirty Laundy isn't the only site claiming Barney will be fired. Last week, Radar Online reported the same.

“Bravo is actively casting for someone who is a voice of reason,” a source told Radar on Sept. 2. “They want to replace [Tamra] who’s stirring up too much s**t and the entire cast is against her.”

Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador will reportedly return to The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 10. The rest of the show's stars have yet to be announced.
