Celebrities, including newlywed couple Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg, are taking to Twitter to find the alleged assailants behind a cruel prank.

In a video that has been circling through various social media platforms, a group of kids allegedly dump a bucket containing feces, urine and spit on an autistic teen's head. The autistic kid apparently thought he was taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Drew Carey sparked an ongoing pledge on Twitter that started with his tweet, "If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, contact me. I'll donate $10K."

That is when McCarthy stepped in.

The ex-View host matched Carey's pledge, doubling the funds to $20,000.

She tweeted, "I'm Joining Drew Carey's 10K Reward to Find Perpetrators Behind Horrible ALS Bucket Prank. Now it's 20k. #justice"

New hubby Wahlberg stepped in, as well, donating an additional $10,000. He also took to Twitter, referring to the incident as a "sh**** prank."

Celebrities' interest in catching the alleged perpetrators seemed to have resonated in the Hollywood area. It wasn't soon after that TV personality Montel Williams retweeted McCarthy and Carey, also pledging for the cause.

Anyone with any information about the case should feel free to contact the Bay Village police at (440) 871-1234.
