Kanye West Kim Kardashian Shopping: 'They Were Picking Outfits For Each Other' In Melbourne

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian deserve an A plus in fashion.

The couple was spotted shopping in high-end stores this afternoon (Sept. 8) in Melbourne, taking a break from West's Yeezus Australian Tour, which kicked off in Perth and Adelaide over the weekend.

The pair touched down in Melbourne that morning, and headed straight for the shops, reported The Daily Mail. They were also spotted on social media, touring exclusive boutiques like jeweler Stefano Canturi's arcade.

West and Kardashian walked in empty handed, but walked out with bags brandishing names like Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and Celine.

Onlookers told Daily Mail that the couple was acting as if they were each other's personal stylists.

"They were picking outfits for each other," an onlooker said.

Well, that makes sense. After all, West and Kardashian are some of today's most valued style icons.

Walking further down the way, the pair stopped at A la Foille, a sweets shop, so Kardashian could snap a quick foodie photo for Instagram.

French shop clerk Beatrice Beusson told Daily Mail she thought she was "out of her mind" when she looked up to see West and Kardashian standing in front of her.

"Kim stopped to take an Instagram picture and she wanted to buy some macaroons, but so many people were standing around taking pictures that she ended up running away. Kanye stood by and watched for a while holding a shopping bag," she told the paper.

Shortly after, the couple arrived back at their hotel, the lavish five star Langham Hotel. A local, Dayton Avos, who was outside the lobby at the time, told Dail Mail that "the front seat, back seat and [trunk] of both cars were full with shopping bags."

It certainly sounds like a successful day of shopping for Hollywood's favorite couple.
