Apollo Nida is staying positive before turning himself into prison to serve an eight-year sentence.

Apollo Nida Is Writing A Tell-All Book

Days before beginning his sentence, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star surfaced on Twitter, where he shared a positive message with fans and thanked them for their support throughout the last several months.

"GOOD MORNING TO ALL!! YES EVEN TO THE NEGATIVE ONES," Nida wrote on Twitter to his 60,000 fans, according to a Sept. 9 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "THANKS 4 ALL THE SUPPORT & KIND WORDS. WE MUST LEARN TO HAVE A LIGHT HEART."

While Nida also tweeted to fans one day prior, telling him he hoped they were well, this was one of his first tweets in the last couple of months.

Nida was charged with several counts of fraud in Jan. 2014 and in May, he plead guilty. Two months later, Nida was sentenced to eight years behind bars, and soon after, a judge ordered him to pay $2 million in restitution.

Throughout his trial and sentencing, Nida continued to film for The Real Houseives of Atlanta alongside his wife, Phaedra Parks, the mother of his two children.

“Bravo will be capturing some of Apollo Nida’s legal troubles for the show and it will be featured in Season 7,” a source told Hollywood Life in July. “They got some footage with Apollo and Phaedra surrounding the sentencing this week.”

According to a Sept. 8 report by Radar Online, Nida will serve his time in Kentucy.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to Bravo on Nov. 2.
