Jenelle Evans won't be getting custody of her son anytime soon.

Jenelle Evans Gives Birth To Second Son

According to a sneak peek of the new episode of Teen Mom 2, Evans isn't planning on regaining custody of four-year-old Jace, and claims her decision is based upon what he wants.

After revealing her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, would like to talk to her mother, Barbara Evans, about getting custody of her son back, Evans said, via OK! Magazine, "I just want to focus on the [baby shower]." Evans claimed that since Jace wanted to continue living with her mom, there wasn't a need to go back to court.

Jenelle Evans Did Not Quit College

The custody of Jace was given to Evans' mom years ago, after Evans failed to step up as a parent. In the years that followed, Evans continued her wild ways with drugs, a slew of arrests and several drama-filled relationships. Then, in 2013, things took a turn for the better.

In June of that year, Evans met Griffith and the pair moved in together. A few months later, Evans announced she and Griffith were expecting their first child together. In June 2014, their son, Kaiser Griffith, arrived.

Since then, Evans has been on the straight and narrow, focusing on her family and her college education.

Still, Evans isn't quite ready to regain custody of Jace and insists he has no interest in living with her full-time.

"Mommy, I just want to come down here for the weekends and I want to go to school up there," Jace reportedly said to Evans.

In the clip below, Evans and Griffith can be seen discussing their job as parents to Jace, as well as Griffith's daughter, Emery.

Teen Mom 2 airs on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on MTV.
