Kim Richards claims she was never attacked by Brandi Glanville.

'RHOBH' Star Kim Richards Hospitalized

Last week, reports hit the web, claiming Glanville assaulted Richards during the filming of the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, in a new tweet, Richards set the record straight.

"The story flying around @BrandiGlanville attacking me is completely untrue!" Richards wrote on Twitter, according to a Sept. 16 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "She is my BFF that's the story!!!"

According to the report in question, Glanville got offended after Richards called her out for her wild ways. In response, she allegedly began swinging at Richards.

Days after the report surfaced, Glanville was the first to set the record straight. On Twitter, the mother of two, who joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show's second season (as a friend of the Housewives), told fans, "I heart @KimRichards11 SOOO much I might have kissed her on the face :) but I haven't punched anyone in the face since my 916 days #LOVEHER.”

Although Richards and Glanville didn't hit it off when they first met on season two (they actually got into a heated argument after Glanville accused Richards of using drugs in a friend's bathroom), they have since gotten close -- and even spend time with one another when they aren't filming.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo for season five this fall.

Below, Richards can be seen discussing her friendship with Glanville during an episode of Bethenny.
