'RHOA' Spinoff: Kenya Moore Confirms Filming On 'New Show' [VIDEO]

While the Real Housewives of Atlanta star didn't give details about the new project, she recently confirmed she had been filming something other than the hit Bravo series on which she's starred for two years.

After being asked what she did during her summer vacation, Moore revealed, via a Sept. 23 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, she had "traveled and worked on a new show.”

In May 2013, following Moore's first season with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, reports began to circulate, claiming the former beauty pageant was in talks for her own spinoff. However, Andy Cohen, creator of the Real Housewives franchise, quickly shot the rumor down, telling fans on Twitter that Moore already had a show.

"It's called The Real Housewives of Atlanta! And it's awesome," he wrote.

Still, that didn't stop Moore from trying to pitch an idea, which would interest Cohen. In July of this year, she posed for a photo with her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton. With the photo, which was taken in New York City, Moore shared the hash tag, "A new spinoff."

Wetpaint also reported Moore has a book coming out, although no details regarding the book's content were revealed.

“It's written just waiting on release date,” she said.

Kenya Moore and the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta return for season seven on Sunday, Nov. 2 on Bravo.
