Kail Lowry Shows Off Her Many Tattoos

During the show's upcoming finale episode, Lowry slammed her son's father, Jo Rivera, for giving their four-year-old son, Isaac, a haircut she felt wasn't appropriate for "little white boys." Immediately, she was faced with backlash, and now, she's speaking out, expressing her disappointment in the controversial statement.

"I already know what I said was wrong, it completely came out the wrong way too," Lowry explained to fans online, according to a Sept. 29 report by Radar Online. "This is weighing heavy on me. Trust that."

Lowry and Rivera welcomed Isaac in 2010. Shortly after, they parted ways and began sharing custody of the young child. Years later, Lowry is now married and living in Delaware with her husband, Javi Marroquin, and their 11-month-old son, Lincoln. Meanwhile, Rivera has been dating girlfriend Vee Torres for a couple of years.

In a sneak peek at the episode, Rivera is seen reading a text message from Lowry to Torres. “Kail said, ‘Little white boys don’t get their hair cut like that,’” Rivera, who hails from Puerto Rico, told Torres.

Continuing on Twitter, Lowry explained she didn't intend to make the racially-charged statement.

"I just brought race into it, which had nothing to do with it,” Lowry said. “I couldn’t articulate what I was trying to say properly.”

Teen Mom 2 airs on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on MTV.
