Despite the ongoing rumors, claiming Bieber and Gomez split during their recent trip to Europe, the pair have not gone their separate ways. In a new Instagram post, Bieber confirmed the news.

In the black and white photo, which he posted on Sunday, Bieber is seen shirtless with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Gomez, standing behind him and kissing his tattooed shoulder, according to an Oct. 5 report by E! News.

It is unclear when the picture was taken, and there was no caption to go along with it, but the kiss appears to speak for itself.

While in Europe, there was speculation the pair may have broken up after Gomez tweeted a very cryptic message, which read, "Sometimes we think we aren't good enough. But then I realize when I think I'm along I have God."

In addition, Gomez was seen hanging out with Bieber's reported fling, Miranda Kerr, as he enjoyed a dinner with Kendall Jenner. Although Bieber and Jenner's outing appeared to be friendly, Gomez was previously involved in a feud with the Jenner girls, so seeing Bieber out with Jenner seemed to hint at trouble in paradise.

This past summer Bieber and Gomez have been spotted on a number of occasions. From ATVing to getting cozy in Las Vegas to bowling with friends, they appeared to be rekindling their romance.

They were also rumored to have taken part in a secret commitment ceremony in Los Angeles earlier this summer.

Their relationship has always been rocky, but maybe this time they can make it work.
