Bethany Mota's Anti-Bullying Performance Was "Beautiful"

A year ago, when you thought of Mota, you thought of YouTube. This year, when you think of the video blogger, you think about her gig on Dancing With The Stars. However, blogging and dancing isn't all this girl can do -- she can also sing!

"I told you guys that I've been working really hard on some cool things for you all, and here is one of them! I am releasing my first ever single called 'Need You Right Now' feat. Mike Tompkins Oct. 13th on iTunes!" Mota announced on her Instagram account, according to an Oct. 8 report by Just Jared Jr. "I've been so passionate about my music my whole life and I hope you guys enjoy this song. Thank you all for constantly inspiring me and motivating me. I love you more than you know. K now I'm gonna go work on uploading a new video."

Are Bethany Mota And Derek Hough Dating?

This is big news for the new starlet, who just this week gave DWTS audiences some insight on her troubled childhood. Mota claimed her younger years were riddled with bullies -- and most of them were her friends.

This week's theme was the star's most memorable year. For her inspiration, Mota chose 2009, when she shared her first YouTube video. Throughout the year, Mota channeled her energy into making tutorial videos and found solace from bullying.

The performance didn't receive a perfect score because it lacked rumba content, but judge Julianne Hough said it was "beautiful."
