In the recently released trailer for Spelling's Lifetime reality show, Spelling is seen announcing, "I might be pregnant." However, according to a source, Spelling is not expecting her fifth child. Instead, she's allegedly spreading rumors in an effort to increase viewership on her show.

“It’s not true. It’s just for the show,” a source told Radar Online on Oct. 13.

Source Claims Tori Spelling Is Wearing Maternity Clothes

Following reports of Spelling's alleged pregnancy, a source spoke to In Touch Weekly, claiming the reality star, who already has four children with husband Dean McDermott, was wearing maternity clothing. The source also stated Spelling was not being shy when it came to announcing the alleged news to her friends and family.

Still, a source close to the couple claims they are not having another baby.

“Use your common sense! When she had the last baby, there were a lot of serious issues. It takes time to heal,” McDermott’s longtime friend Dan Kibsey told the site.

Kibsey also claimed the reported baby news may be continuing to swirl because of the upcoming second season of True Tori.

“Obviously they’ve already interjected [the storyline] into the show,” he continued. “I know if it’s true or not, but I don’t want to be the one to come out and say.”

True Tori premieres on Lifetime on Oct. 21 at 9 p.m.
