During Griffith's weeks-long stint behind bars earlier this year, a then-pregnant Evans reached out to her ex-boyfriend, Kieffer Delp. However, according to the Teen Mom 2 star, their conversation was nothing more than some friendly banter.

“I was looking more for a friend to talk to and I just talked to him as a friend," Evans said, according to an Oct. 16 report by Radar Online. “I let Nathan see all the messages when he got out. I was honest with him.”

Evans and Delp dated on and off for years, and the majority of their relationship was seen on Teen Mom 2. Ultimately, the pair parted ways in 2012, months before Evans married her now-ex-husband Courtland Rogers.

Although Evans made it sound as if her communication with Delp was innocent, Radar claimed the reality star hurled a biracial slur at her former love interest and later told him she was only dating Griffith because she was expecting his child.

Either way, Griffith was understandably angry.

“I was pissed, but I knew yelling and screaming at her wouldn’t work,” Griffith explained. “I don’t really have a problem, I knew she would never leave me or anything. I think she wanted comfort, but she was finding it in the wrong outlet, the wrong place.”

While Griffith was upset to hear his girlfriend had contacted her ex-boyfriend, the pair got past the issue quickly and the next month, they welcomed son Kaiser.
