Jodi Arias is back in court, where a jury will decide whether or not she will receive the death penalty.

On May 8, 2013, Arias was convicted of the brutal 2008 murder of Travis Alexander. According to reports, Arias stabbed Alexander 27 times, shot him and left him nearly decapitated.

Arias is guaranteed at least a life sentence, but now, a skeptical jury is returning to court to question if she could be eligible for parole or a death sentence, according to an Oct. 20 report by ABC News.

Arizona is one of two states that would permit this type of death penalty trial. Some question whether execution is appropriate for the case, arguing it is not an atypical domestic murder. However, in her original sentencing, the jury supported a death sentence eight-to-four, and those who support the retrial say a life sentence is the equivalent of letting her walk.

On the other end of the spectrum, it is widely believed Arias is suffering from some form of a personality disorder. Her narcissism is shining through in her social media presence, which she is continuing while behind bars. It seems like she is excited for all the publicity, despite how negative it may be.

Arias is relaying tweets from her jail cell on just about any topic from domestic violence to artwork she is selling online and even health tips.

Alexander's family is pushing for the death penalty, but that will be up to the jury in what is estimated to be a two-month long retrial.
