Stuck In Chimney: California Woman Arrested After Getting Stuck In The Chimney Of Her Online Lover's House [VIDEO]

Ho Ho Ho! It is not Christmas yet, but that didn't stop a California woman from climbing into a chimney.

This past weekend, a California woman was caught trying to pull a Santa Claus, but it didn't go as planned. Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa got stuck in her online lover's chimney while trying to break into his home.

"Residents on Woodside Drive called police [Sunday] at about 5:45am to report the sound of a female crying in the area," the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said in a press release, according to an Oct. 21 report by Us Weekly. "Deputies responded and located Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa stuck inside the chimney of a residence... The fireplace was carefully dismantled in order to free Nunez-Figueroa. Nunez-Figueroa was eventually rescued from the chimney and transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for medical treatment."

The 30-year-old woman was reportedly stuck in the chimney for two hours, crying and trying to get noticed. No one, including the police who found her, have any idea what her intent was. That remains "unclear."

A crew of jackhammer-wielding firefighters arrived at the scene to remove the woman from the chimney, and she was transported to a local hospital, where she was examined by doctors.

Following her hospital visit, the woman was arrested on suspicion of illegal entry and giving false information to police, according to an Oct. 20 report by PEOPLE Magazine. Police say the owner of the home was not present at the time.

Nunez-Figueroa claims the homeowner was her online boyfriend, and it is known they went on a few dates. However, the extent of their relationship is otherwise unknown.
