Are Retailers Boycotting Black Friday? 16 Stores Will be Closed On Thanksgiving

According to a new report, a Sam's Club ad was recently leaked on Gotta Deal. In the ad, it was revealed that the phone would be offered at a discounted price with a two-year contract for the holiday. What's more? The deal may be available from several other retailers, as well.

"A number of Black Friday websites suspect several retailers may follow Sam's lead, and offer the iPhone 6 for $99 on Black Friday," ABC 2 News reported on Nov. 4. "In addition to the iPhone savings, Sam's is also planning $100 discounts on the new iPad Air according to the leaked ad."

Which Gaming Console Will Offer The Biggest Black Friday Discount?

On Black Friday, as is typical for electronics, there will be a limited selection. As the flyer noted, each Sam's Club location will only have between 40 and 50 units, and the promotion will run through Dec. 31 (It was not noted whether or not the retailer would restock the phones for the entirety of the promotional period).

As the Black Friday holiday gets closer, more retailers are expected to announce their deals on Apple products, including the iPhone 6.

In a second report, Mac Rumors further reported, "Sam's Club will be selling the 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB iPhone 6 at $99, $199, and $299 with a two-year contract beginning November 15th."

The two-year contract does not have to be with any particular cell phone service provider, but the site did note that the carrier had to be one of the "major" companies, such as T-Mobile or AT&T.
