Candy Spelling is fighting back against Dean McDermott's recent comments about her failing to help Tori through her financial troubles.

Dean McDermott Is Sick And Tired Of Defending Himself

Speaking to Access Hollywood last week, McDermott alleged that Candy hadn't reached out to Tori as she struggled with her finances, and claimed she rarely sees her daughter and grandchildren. Following the shocking interview, Candy released a statement, via her rep, regarding McDermott's comments.

"Candy has provided financial help in the past and has offered repeatedly to pay for the children's private schooling and Tori has never told her where to send the money," Candy's rep told Access Hollywood, via a Nov. 9 Us Weekly report. "Candy reaches out often to see them and unfortunately Tori and Dean are not often responsive."

Are Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Expecting Their Fifth Child?

In recent weeks, McDermott has been extremely vocal about the last year of his life. As fans have seen on Lifetime's True Tori, McDermott engaged in an affair with a woman named Emily Goodhand in Dec. 2013. In the moths that followed, he and his wife were seen attempting to fix their marriage.

During the interview with Access Hollywood, McDermott opened up about his post-scandal struggles, and even admitted to plotting his own suicide after news of his relationship with Goodhand was made public.

He also revealed his wife sees her mother about “eight times a year,” and claimed, “There’s no financial help.”
