Just months after their summer wedding, the former host of The View and her New Kids on the Block husband have agreed to open their lives up to fans on A&E.

"A&E has ordered 10 episodes of Donnie Loves Jenny, a new chapter in the cable network's love affair with the Wahlberg clan that began with this year's Wahlburgers, which focuses on the family's restaurant in Boston," PEOPLE Magazine announced on Nov. 11. "This iteration will follow the newlyweds from the moment they got hitched Aug. 31 to whatever played out in their subsequent days of bliss."

McCarthy and Wahlberg began dating in July 2013, three years after McCarthy's highly-publicised relationship with Jim Carrey. Less than one year later, McCarthy announced her engagement to Wahlberg during an episode of The View. On Aug. 31, 2014, the couple were married in St. Charles, Ill., outside of Chicago.

"Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about, than about us?" the couple said in a statement. "We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."

McCarthy was married to John Mallory Asher from 1999 to 2005, and the pair share one child, son Evan. Wahlberg has sons two sons, Xavier and Elijah, with ex-wife Kim Fey, whom he was married to from 1999 to 2008.

Donnie Loves Jenny is expected to air on A&E in 2015.
