Celebrity news: For TV personality Melissa Rivers, Thanksgiving will never be the same.

She celebrated her first Thanksgiving without her mother, comedienne, writer, and host Joan Rivers, who died August this year at 81 years old due to complications from a minor throat surgery.

Melissa posted a message from Joan's Twitter account on November 27, using the profile for the first time in months. The late star last tweeted in August.

"I finally figured out my mom's password," Melissa tweeted. "HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Xo Melissa." She then posted a vintage photo of herself with her mother having a great time.

A younger Melissa is seen laughing and holding hands with Joan. The two are obviously in their element.

In celebration of her mom's life, Melissa is continuing her family traditions and honored the legendary star with a Thanksgiving dinner together with friends and loved ones.
