"Vikings" Season 3 returns to The History Channel in February and they have released a new trailer teaser for the upcoming season (which you can check out above). While the new trailers are short, they are enough to get fans excited for new episodes.

The cast was on hand at the 2014 Comic-Con in San Diego this Summer when they revealed a first look trailer for Season 3. Show writer Michael Hirst was joined by cast members Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Clive Standen (Rollo), and Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn). They did share a spoiler for Season 3. Someone on the cast that wasn't on the Comic-Con panel, had just been killed off on the show. It was a beloved character and that they filmed this person's final scene right before the panelists all flew out to San Diego for Comic-Con.

It couldn't be the Lothbroks, because they were all on the panel. So what is Alyssa Sutherland's Aslaug? Gustaf Skarsgård's Floki? George Blagden's Athelstan? We will have to wait and find out. Standen shared there were a lot of tears on their final day on set together, as well as a lot of supportive farewell cheers.

"Vikings" Season 3 will be coming to the HISTORY channel in February 2015.

The "Vikings" series is a historical drama television series, written and created by Michael Hirst for the television channel History. It premiered on March 3, 2013 in Canada and the United States.

The show is mainly filmed in Ireland and is inspired by the sagas about the Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known mythological Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France. It portrays Ragnar as a former farmer who rises to fame by successful raids into England with the support of his family and fellow warriors: his brother Rollo, his son Bjorn, and his wives-the shieldmaiden Lagertha and the princess Aslaug.

On April 5, 2013, History renewed Vikings for a ten-episode second season, which premiered on February 27, 2014. In March 2014, History renewed Vikings for a ten-episode third season.
